Ingredients
  

For the sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey Adjust sweetness to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes Optional, adjust for spice level
Main ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces Uniform pieces for even cooking
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch For coating chicken
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles) Cook according to package instructions
  • 2 green onions chopped For garnish
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds Optional, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes to make the sauce.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Let it simmer until thickened, about 2–3 minutes.
  4. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce and chicken.
Serving
  1. Serve Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles warm on a plate or in a bowl. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

To store leftovers, keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of water or broth for moisture. You can also substitute chicken for shrimp or tofu, and add vegetables for variation.
