  • 6 oz Strawberry flavored gelatin large box
  • 2 cups Boiling water
  • 10 oz Frozen sliced strawberries partially thawed
  • 8 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 8 oz Whipped topping thawed
  • 2 cups Mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup Chopped pecans optional

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water in a large bowl. Stir until completely dissolved.
  2. Add the partially thawed frozen strawberries to the gelatin mixture, stirring gently. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until slightly thickened but not set.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Once the gelatin mixture is slightly thickened, fold in the cream cheese and whipped topping mixture, mini marshmallows, and chopped pecans (if using).
  6. Pour the salad into a large serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until completely set.

Notes

For best results, ensure the Jello is only slightly thickened before adding other ingredients to prevent lumps. This salad can be made a day in advance.
