Ingredients
  

For the Beef Crust
  • 2 cups ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
For the Cheesecake Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened Use room temperature for a smooth mixture.
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberry puree Fresh strawberries recommended.
  • 1/4 cup strawberry syrup (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, shredded cheese, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 15 minutes, then let it cool.
Cheesecake Filling
  1. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add sour cream, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  3. Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  4. Swirl in half of the strawberry puree, then add the remaining cream cheese mixture on top.
  5. Swirl the remaining strawberry puree on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  2. Let it cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.

Notes

Serve chilled for best flavor. Use fresh strawberries for puree and consider alternative fruit purees for variations.
