Ingredients

Cauliflower
  • 1 head Cauliflower cut into florets
Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger powder
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
For Roasting
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Garnish (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 2 Green onions sliced

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Large bowl
  • Whisk
  • Parchment paper

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Roasting
  1. Spread the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  2. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender-crisp and lightly browned, flipping halfway through.
Sauce and Finish
  1. While cauliflower roasts, whisk together maple syrup, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  2. Once roasted, transfer the cauliflower back to the large bowl, pour the sauce over it, and toss to coat thoroughly.
  3. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions, if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure not to overcrowd the baking sheet. You can adjust the sriracha amount to your preferred spice level.
