  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Orange Zest optional
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 2-3 Whole Cloves

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally.
  3. Continue to simmer for 15-20 minutes until the cranberries burst and the jam thickens; remove the cinnamon stick and cloves.
  4. Carefully ladle the hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving about 1/4 inch headspace, and then seal.
  5. Allow the jam to cool completely before storing it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or process for longer shelf stability.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, consider adding a splash of orange liqueur at the end of cooking. This jam can be enjoyed warm or cold, and pairs wonderfully with roasted meats, cheese boards, or classic holiday desserts.
