  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded Use leftover turkey for easy preparation.
  • 2 cups cooked smoked turkey, diced Can substitute with other cooked meat.
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (such as penne or rotini) Make sure it's cooked before mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella) Choose your favorite type of cheese.
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with cream of chicken.
  • 1 cup milk Can use other milk alternatives.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Breadcrumbs for topping (optional) Adds crunch to the casserole.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded turkey, diced turkey, cooked pasta, shredded cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  4. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for added crunch.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden on top.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve hot or pair with a fresh salad for a complete meal. Let leftovers cool completely before storing in an airtight container. Can freeze for up to 2 months.
