Ingredients

Filling
  • 2 cups Cooked turkey, shredded
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Cranberry sauce, whole berry
  • 1/4 cup Celery, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Black pepper
Ring
  • 2 cans Refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz each)
  • 1 large Egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds (optional)

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula
  • Parchment paper

Method

Prepare Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded turkey, softened cream cheese, whole berry cranberry sauce, chopped celery, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until thoroughly mixed.
Assemble Ring
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the crescent rolls in a ring on a parchment-lined baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends in the center.
  2. Spoon the turkey-cranberry mixture evenly over the widest part of the crescent dough ring.
  3. Fold the pointed ends of the crescent rolls over the filling and tuck them under the wide ends to form a complete ring.
  4. Brush the top of the crescent ring with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
Bake and Serve
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Let the ring cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, make sure the turkey mixture is cooled before assembling the ring to prevent the crescent dough from getting soggy. You can also add a sprinkle of fresh rosemary or thyme to the filling for extra flavor.
