Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare the turkey legs by patting them dry with paper towels.
- Combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl to create a seasoning mixture.
- Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both turkey legs, ensuring they are completely coated.
- Place the seasoned turkey legs in a roasting pan and pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
- Roast the turkey legs for 60 minutes, or until their internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden and crispy.
- Allow the cooked turkey legs to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving them to retain their juices.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last 10 minutes of cooking.
