Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden around the edges. Allow to cool on the baking sheet.
- Once the cookies are cool, drizzle the caramel sauce over each cookie.
- Melt the milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, then drizzle or spread the melted chocolate over the caramel.
- Let the chocolate set before enjoying your Twix Cookies.
Notes
To keep Twix Cookies fresh, store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. Freeze for up to 3 months, layered with parchment paper.
