Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla until well blended.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the creamed mixture, mixing well.
- Stir in the cranberries, white chocolate chips, and orange zest.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Best served warm with a glass of milk or a cup of tea. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week, or freeze for up to three months. Chilling the dough for 30 minutes may prevent cookies from spreading too much.
