Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the blueberries, cherries, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet.
- Pour the fruit mixture onto the center of the pie crust, leaving a border.
- Fold the edges of the crust over the fruit, pleating as you go.
- Brush the crust with egg wash and dot the fruit with butter.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
